Blackrock Hammock is a gated community of just 45 homes situated on 100 acres offering large home sites with privacy and elegance. The exclusivity of the community is, of course, our gated entry, which is further enhanced by our, unusual lamp posts and street signs, the gazebo by the tennis courts and the variations in styles / elevations we offer for each home. Our homes can be customized to your individual lifestyle requirements or simply extended with bonus rooms and even a theatre room.

With each home being on a home site of one acre or larger, it is possible to garage R.V.’s and boats on individual properties with covenants and restrictions protecting the view for residents.

Each home design is named with a Charles Dickens character;

• The “Pickwick”, from “The Pickwick Papers” is our smallest home at 2,550 Square Feet. It is a two story home with all bedrooms upstairs.

• “Louis”, from “Louis XV” in “A Tale of Two Cities” offers 2,790 Square Feet, of well planned comfy living space.

• The “Oliver”, from “Oliver Twist” is somewhat larger than the Louis at 3,028 Square Feet yet shares the same comfortable floor plan.

• The Nickleby, from “Nicholas Nickleby” has an internal courtyard for an English garden or it can be used for a full size swimming pool. At 3,242 Square Feet it also offers a unique courtyard entry and separate Guest Suite.

• The Little Dorrit, from the book of the same name, is a single story home of 3,338 Square Feet which offers a spacious kitchen completely open to the Family Room.

The variations in styles / elevations include Mediterranean, Low-Country and Florida. Our Mediterranean is finished with stucco and a tile / barrel roof, the Low-Country style has a porch and is finished in stucco, brick and hardiplank and the Florida style / elevations is a full stucco home. Copperfields will be happy to modify an existing plan to fit your lifestyle and budget, or simply bring your own design and we will build it for you.

Amenities at Blackrock Hammock include basketball and tennis courts and a beautiful gazebo where you can relax and sip a drink while waiting on your court.
